Seeking Victim or Witness Information in Adoption Scam Investigation
The FBI’s Memphis Division is seeking to identify potential victims of Gabryele “Gabby” Watson, who was recently charged with violations of 18 U.S.C. § 2261A(Cyberstalking) and 18 U.S.C. 875(c) (Interstate Transmission of Threats to Injure or Kidnap) for conduct that allegedly occurred within the Middle District of Tennessee and elsewhere. The FBI believes she primarily targeted couples seeking adoptions from 2015 to present.
