Biotoxins Workshop: The Biotoxins Workshop provides valuable information on combatting the threat posed by ricin, abrin, other easily accessible, and emerging biological toxins. The workshop is intended to enable attendees to recognize and detect attempts at making biological weapons via crude ricin synthesis pathways, existing detection methods, sampling requirements, forensic analysis methods available for understanding purity and sourcing of reagents. Instruction includes case studies, best practices in early detection, and tripwires indicative of plant toxins production efforts. The workshop is focused on collaboration and communication between response elements.
