Chemical Industry Outreach Workshop - Pittsburgh, PA
The FBI Pittsburgh Office's Weapons of Mass Destruction and Special Agent Bomb Technician programs will be hosting a Chemical Industry Outreach Workshop (CIOW) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. The CIOW is a one-day training session consisting of classroom presentations and explosive-range demonstrations of improvised, or homemade, explosives. The workshop is designed to increase awareness of commercial off-the-shelf products that could be used as explosive precursor materials and to demonstrate the effects of the resulting explosives.
