Chemical Industry Outreach Workshop (CIOW) in Nassau County, NY

The FBI New York Office Weapons of Mass Destruction and Special Agent Bomb Technician Programs will be putting on the Chemical Industry Outreach Workshop (CIOW) in Nassau County, New York, on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. CIOW is a one-day training session consisting of classroom presentations and explosive range demonstrations of improvised, or homemade, explosives. The workshop is designed to increase awareness of commercial off-the-shelf products that could be used as explosive precursor materials and to demonstrate the effects of the resulting explosives.

Seats are limited and registration requests must be submitted by Friday October 6, 2023.
