Seeking Victim Information in ICHCoin Investigation

The FBI’s Houston Division is seeking to identify potential victims of ICHCoin or a similar investment platform purporting to use AI assisted software to make cryptocurrency trades. The FBI believes ICHCoin primarily targeted victims between the timeframe of December 2023 through present.

    Red flags if you believe you were victimized by a similar platform:
  • Unsolicited messages on a messaging app. (i.e. WhatsApp, Telegram)
  • Promise of a definitive return on investment.
  • Suspicious advertisements posted on social media directing an investor to download an cell phone (mobile?) App or program.
  • You were asked to lie to your bank relating to the purpose of any transaction activity.
  • You were given free money as a “loan” to get started.

It is important to review every investment opportunity, such as by conducting web searches or SEC registration checks, PRIOR to sending funds. Please review the additional resources below for specific information related to your situation.

The FBI is legally mandated to identify victims of federal crimes it investigates. Victims may be eligible for certain services, restitution, and rights under federal and/or state law.
